*insert title here*

I'm in South Dakota.

I have a cool new hat and a compound bow.

And a stupid, stupid, stupid desire to play Polybius (even though I start coughing whenever I watch someone play it) and watch Salad Fingers. (If you don't know what it is, I'd advise you to forget about it. You'll be a lot better off.)

I want to do like an unconventional materials challenge. Like, make a coat or something out of something that isn't fabric.

Also, last night, I randomly felt like a lizard. Yeah. But I don't anymore. So that's good.

Right now, all I wanna do is outline novels and write scripts and sketch fashion and read obscure manga. That's it. That's all.

Between that, the manga 'A Lollipop or a Bullet', the whole Jupitearth thing (Jupiter/Earth... as anthropomorphic personifications of the planets... as a couple... because Jupiter saved Earth from an asteroid strike. Yeah. That is tumblr. That is part of why I love it. We'll even ship office supplies.) and the Tiger and Bunny movie (ZOMG!) I'm a little off the walls right now. Plus I have Cheez-Its.

Anyway.

I get to get up and go to a corn palace tomorrow. So I'm happy about that. Yes, you read that right.

So, I think I'm going to go to sleep. Maybe. Or at least settle in. Maybe brush up on my leetspeak. Okay? Okay.

Night, everyone. I hope you have an awesome day~

19.9.12

Wow.

Really wow.

Mum and I just cleared out an entire house and pulled up all roots we had here in the space of two days. We leave in the morning.

And of course, I can't sleep. I mean, it's like, one in the morning. My back aches but I'm still like, "No."

I'm actually planing on getting up and walking around or drinking my other coffee drink if I get tired, not going to sleep. That's not healthy, is it? Is it? I don't know anymore.

But, yeah, not tired and awake working on things. I have music though so it's not so boring.

I just... I don't know what I'm doing is what it all comes down to. I think I'll just have to face the fact that I have some issues, I don't really know who I am and it's just something I'll have to work on. That and not wrecking my body just because I'm stressed. Sleeping and eating are still essential, even if I don't like them.

Seriously, you wanna know what happened today? I didn't have a fork to eat with and so I used a pair of coffee stirrers like chopsticks. Because I am resourceful. It actually worked really well. I was pleasantly surprised.

But that's what the past couple of days have been for me. That and this.

Know what that is? That is a project blog for NaNoWriMo 2012. I'm doing things right this year.

Anyway.

I'm rambling. I'll also be on the road tomorrow. I think we're going to Montana. Somewhere in Montana for a family thing. I'll remember later, I'm sure. It's just all such a blur right now - I'm sorry guys.

I'll check in later. Maybe when we get stopped. Until then, have a good day. I hope you're all doing well.

18.9.12

Let me tell you about my day.

My day (yesterday) began at 11:30. And did not stop until nine.

From about 11:30 on, I'd been packing things up and talking with movers and trying to find a hotel with a room for the night.

We packed up everything that wasn't furniture or appliances and shoved it in the back of a truck. I. I shoved it in the back of a truck. (Really, I must have packed up 2/3 of the truck.) It now has two sewing machines, one in a cabinet, so many books, so many clothes, and so many little household things.

From there, we waited on the movers. Well, not really movers. They took the things we couldn't take with us to auction. They picked up the couch, the loveseat, the tables and some other stuff for the first run, then left to go empty the truck.

During that time, I got very sick. It was short-lived, thankfully, but still.

The second run lasted until about nine at night and then we had to run around and try to find food and a hotel that had a room available. So that was fun.

It's by no means the whole story and leaves out the seven mosquito hawks that decided to meet around the living room light but the internet here is flaky and Blogger is annoying me so that's all you're getting from me right now. I'll try to check in tomorrow but no promises.

Bye guys! I hope your last few days have been easier than mine have.

17.9.12

Wheeeeee!

Okay. So, it's the last night in the house. I'm actually a little sad because I like this house but I can't exactly say that I'm not happy. I am happy. Like, 'I want to hug things' happy. And it's so nice but it's so weird.

I'm also markedly not tired. Ordinarily that would be a problem but not only is this a form of 'method writing' for me but I'm pretty sure tomorrow can keep me awake just fine. Also, music. I have music.

I'm really, really, really loving this Character Writer program. Like, I actually have a plot. I can't even believe - I have a plot and I think I know where I'm going. *rolls around*

I just can't believe we're leaving, you know? I just... *sighs* It's hard to get it through my head. It feel a lot more final this time, somehow. Weird to think I won't be in this house again.

Also, before I forget or get too sappy:

There are a few programs I'd like to shove out there for any writers who might be able to use them.

I recommend getting a good calender. Here's a cool desktop one I like. This one:

Isn't it cool? The picture is my desktop behind it. You can mess with the colours, fonts, and setup, highlight dates, change the text colour - all kinds of stuff!

A thing called Character Writer is insanely valuable to me right now. You can't print or save in the free version, which is a little annoying, I'll admit but the full version is about $70. Here's just the basic information screen:

And the side menu:

Also, I like playlists. It's like having a soundtrack for the movie in your head. A little thing called Songbird is a cool piece of freeware with an easy-to-figure-out setup similar to iTunes.

Don't have enough music? These might be of use to you: Free Music Archive and, for the geeks and broke college students out there, Fanmixes.

So that's about all I've discovered so far.

But guys... I just don't know what to do with myself. I really don't. I can't even ramble about it. I'm just really at a loss for words.

Unrelated but I can't decide who's point of view to take for this story now. They're both interesting but I'm not sure which one would work better. The guy has more emotional trouble going on but I don't know if that would play better as seen from the girl's point of view or jumping back and forth or what.

I'll figure it out. Eventually. Until then, I guess I'll just... do something else.

what am i doing what am i feeling what is this

Bye for now, guys~ I'll check back in later on with more news.

*type type type*

14.9.12

Let's Go Already!

Really, though, I'm getting all restless about this.

There's so much stuff to do and sort out though. *pulls at her hair* Maybe late next week? I don't know. Moving is always such a hassle.

Also NaNoWriMo. I know it's way early but I've still been planning. I have my two main characters and a ghost of a plot forming. So... you know. Yay. Although now I kind of want to make a book trailer. I know a lot of people think they're pointless but I like them.

This really wasn't much of an update - I just wanted to express my frustration. And I feel I've done that. So... yeah.

Things have just been a ball of stress and stupid lately. Hopefully that clears up pretty soon.

*backflips into the sun*

8.9.12

I now have to re-learn Math.

But I have textbooks to help me with that.

Yes, I am, in fact, geeking out over textbooks. I am a nerd.

Also, I passed the written part of my driving test. The actual drive is scheduled and I'm sure that will be the source of so much stress over the next little while. So.

What else?

Aside from the fact that my hands are killing me and will probably be much worse tomorrow, I don't really have a lot to talk about. I'm reading a book that is interesting in some uncomfortable ways. I mean, it's good, but... wow. (It's called 'The Sociopath Next Door', if you're interested.)

And I made up a sport today. It's called the Wolf Hunt. Basically, picture a stadium - not like the one used for the Superbowl but smaller and about three tiers up, hollow in the center. On the ground floor, starting just inside the ring of seats, is what amounts to a moat. It's deep enough that it provides some cushion from a fall and wide enough to catch someone (fairly) safely. Just inside that is a large pillar of what is basically mountain terrain. It's desert rock and steep drops, forcing the teams to climb their way along the rocks, ever careful of their steps - and the other team. The first team to eliminate all three of the other team's members (either by throwing them into the water or by 'killing' them) is the winner.

Uniforms: Each team has a colour-coded under-suit on top of which is layered their armour and damage sensors. They are equipped with boots which function like and closely resemble a wolf's back legs and paws, useful for gripping the rocks. A (fake) fur 'skirt' belt and tail are worn as a further indicator of the team. (All 'fur' is colour-coordinated, different tones for each team.) Combination wrists guards/gloves are worn which allow only the use of the fingers and hold flexible rubber claws at the front. Later models also include the 'extra' due claw. (Some matches allow 'Ears' - a combination headset/mic mostly contained within a sturdy headband to allow team members to communicate with each other.)

Damage Sensors: The main damage sensor is wrapped around the player's neck. It consists of two lightweight metal bands (one near the jaw, the other nearer to the collarbone) between which are strung three red conductor strips. When one of these strips is broken or removed from at least one side of the metal collar, it registers as a 'kill'. This is usually done with teeth. Damage can be done with claws as well, though it's less common. Damage sensors can be triggered by a solid hit to the legs or chest.

Play: Once a match has started, the only object is to knock all three of the other team's players off of the territory. This can be done by knocking them into the water (although if their damage sensors don't trigger to a certain level, their movement is only restricted - they are not out) or by 'killing' them (causing high enough damage/disconnecting the sensor at the throat).

Currently, 'Fangtastic' is the defending team.

So... once I'm done spazzing and being weird... you wanna, maybe, catch a Wolf Hunt? (See, it works.)

Anyway. That's what my brain's been doing.

And it's almost one in the morning and I'm tired so I think I'll go curl up for a while. Night, everyone~

*buries herself in her covers*

19.6.12

. . .

Okay, here's how things stack up:

1) I haven't heard back on a certain beta-reading/editing project I was kind of really excited about and that's making me nervous. Everything's probably fine but I just really want to work on this and... ACK! I don't want to be annoying by sending too many messages but I don't have an answer and it's bothering me.

2) (Less serious, technically) I've restarted Camp NaNoWriMo. Why? Because I am a derp who is stressed about point 1 and can't focus. It is now a story about... I don't even know but the words are coming easier on this one so I'm rolling with it :D

3) I've restarted (at least in my own head) the self-published author thing. I've figured out that I don't really care about the money (even though it's nice to have). What I like is the fandom that small things gather - that and just the love of the work.

And 4) (so ranked because it's still in planning stages) I've been clicking away at a Word document filled with information on how authors who plan to self-publish can hire me as a beta-reader/editor with prices at a reasonable level and negotiable based on volume of work and the client's ability to pay. I love to help artists who chose not to go through major companies. That's a very brave thing to do! And it just might be the future of the industry.

But yeah. I'm stressed and I hope I didn't lose that job - I'm sick over that thought, by the way - and I'll be starting school soon (for psychology) and... just yeah. Stress and happiness all rolled into one right now. I'm leaving tomorrow or the next day to start this whole thing and it's just... insane. This all happened amazingly fast and somehow, yes I'm stressed (I wonder how many times I've used that word in this thing?) but I'm not as freaked out about it as I thought I'd be.

Huh.

I'm okay. And it's a weird and wonderful feeling - to be okay.

I'm very jittery inside right now so I'm going to go write for a little while and then we'll see where we are in the morning. *waves*

5.4.12

Cows! 8D

Seriously, there were cows everywhere on this trip. 586 miles later...

I want to hug everything! I want everything to hug! And I couldn't seem to stop saying 'Oh, hey!' at things I found interesting. This was everything from horses and cows to snow to trees. So I said it a lot. Okay, okay...

I am feeling so much better. I don't even know why. I guess it's the place. Suddenly I feel... creatively capable? Like I can sit down and get something done, I guess. I'm tired but I kind of want to work on Script Frenzy... or one of my many unfinished projects. But it's late and I need to rest so that enthusiasm is going to have to wait until I can get some sleep, I think ^^

So much stuff happened. I watched some idiot almost burn out his brakes by riding them down a hill (for the record, about 2 to 3 seconds on your brakes and then let off of them. Otherwise, you'll burn them out). Speaking of, just how the ever-loving hell do you put a big truck halfway up a hill at the end of the runaway truck lane? Just how fast were you going?

So there was that. I didn't eat all day except for a small bag of Doritos and a couple small Twix bars (like, from the four pack bars). So that wasn't smart. But I managed to get a veggie omelet for dinner (which was heavy but good. I still have half of it left). I'm also thinking about psychos. As in, why are all of my characters seemingly? Still don't have an answer for that.

. . .

You know... I got to watch the clouds roll in from Idaho into Oregon. I got to see the sun, still high in its arc, filter down from high above my head to stain those clouds the colours of wine and wildfire. I stood in the freezing wind and watched the cherry blossoms twist and twirl on the currents in a simple, comfortable mimicry of falling snow. I watched three small rabbits play and chase each other around the grassy yard of the hotel.

I smiled at a stranger today. I've never done that before in my life.

And we'll be home tomorrow. Maybe not our permanent home but we'll be in our town. That sleepy, rainy, cedar-scented logging town. And I'm ridiculously happy about that.

I'll see you all tomorrow, when I'm less tired and less apt to try to make myself cry over places ^^

Goodnight, everyone~

4.4.12

SL, UT

There's a lot of traffic in Provo, Utah at four-thirty in the afternoon.

Hi. I'm Jezzy and I'm very tired.

I haven't gotten anything done except sit in a car for a total of eight hours.

We left out of the house at a little after six (meaning we actually got up at five to get ready) and drove for four hours to meet with Mum's agent and her mentor for lunch. And they were pretty awesome. I snarffed around the menu and settled on grilled cheese and french fries. And that was pretty good. Normal but good. Then we said goodbye and drove for another four hours. We are now in Salt Lake City (hence the title). We found a Denny's and picked up some veggie sides that I could eat. We're sitting around watching Stuntbusters. It's actually kind of awesome especially for someone like me who loves behind-the-scenes stunt stuff for movies and TV shows.

We drove 520 miles today. And we get to do the same tomorrow. All the way to Oregon.

Oh, my God, I can't believe we actually left...

We talked about the Oxford comma... and about if vampire birthdays were like funerals... and I took a lot of pictures of snow (which I need to take off of my camera and look through... but so lazy). Also, I think I forgot my USB drive. *expletive deleted*

And now I have the hiccups >.>

So I'm a little tired. My vegetarian self is having fun trying to find things to eat on the road, my shirt shows my tattoo scar, I'm cold and I'm tired. But I have ideas for stories and scripts and that's good.

I have a strawberry banana smoothie. And I have to work on Script Frenzy and I don't care right now.

*collapse*

I'll see you guys later, okay? Tomorrow when I hopefully feel better.

3.4.12

The Last Day

Several things just hit me:

1) I have 80 Twitter Followers. I don't know how that happened but I really can't thank you all enough.
2) I have 25 Tumblr Followers. Again, no idea how that happened but very thankful ^^
3) I will never bleach my teeth again. I was up until about 6 this morning because it was impossible for me to sleep.
and 4) I am moving in the morning. (Holy cross-dressing assassins, Batman!) I still need to stuff clothes into my bag and figure out what I'm going to wear to lunch. I have a dress I want to wear but that's probably too dressy for a diner and then sitting in the car all day. So I'm gonna rethink that.

What else? Oh, yeah. Script Frenzy. I'm actually on pace right now (well, I will be after four pages today). I'll probably fall behind on the trip since I'll be in the car all day and probably very tired by the time we stop. But that's an easy fix. I'm about 8 pages in right now and I have no idea where I'm going. But that's fine. It's really just an exercise, anyway and it's an interesting story if nothing else.

I am going to be freaking out around dinner and into the next morning, I'm pretty sure. I'm already kind of fluttery in the stomach region.

I'm hungry but eating causes me pain-splosions. So that's annoying. At least the only things I can eat at dinner are fairly soft.

On the upside, my procrastinating in writing this has caused that last bit to be somewhat untrue. My pain is now manageable ^^

So, I'll be up at five in the A.M. to throw things in the truck and get going. And I'm actually very happy. It's almost time for bed here. I doubt I'll be able to sleep but I'll still try.

So, before the panic completely sets in (whoops, too late) I'm going to try to keep calm and do something productive before it's road trip time. I'll check in from... wherever we stop tomorrow ^^

See ya~!

2.4.12

One Day Before

Strangely, I'm not freaking out. I'm not sure why but I'm not.

(WHY IS IT MONDAY?!)

I have whitening strips in. Can't take them out until 8:30. But I got to take a shower and be all clean and now I get to work on a creepy-ass, depressing script and watch anime. So it could be worse.

Really that's the news of the day. Not that interesting but there it is.

Maybe, ramble? Sure, why not?

I feel like I should be panicking but I'm not. It's this kind of quiet anxiety that you get right before a trip you're really excited about. I'm sure by this time tomorrow I'll be bouncing off the walls and probably unable to sleep but that's okay.

I think there's just not much to say. I mean, the truck is basically packed, I'm sure tomorrow's going to be stressful and there's just not a lot I can ramble about. I mean, sure, I can talk about why I think de-clawing cats is not completely evil or why I think creativity is essential to our survival but I don't think that, in my current state, I could really explain myself properly. So I won't.

On that note, I will return to spazz at you guys tomorrow and then things will be trip updates (probably, if I'm not too exhausted) for a little while. I hope you all have a wonderful day/night/whatever the hell time it is for you and I will see you all tomorrow.

See ya~!

(Oh, my God, I'm moving the day after tomorrow. *screaming*)

31.3.12

Three Days Before

My grandmother wandered up to me this morning holding her wrist. I wondered what was wrong but before I could ask she said, "I'm going nuts-o."

Okay... I thought. What now? "What happened?"

"I lost my watch." She pulled back the sleeve of her pink sweater to show me her wrist. "I can't find it."

Indeed, the watch, the little silver one she always had, was missing. We searched everywhere - the computer room, the fridge, the freezer, the big freezer in the utility room, the pantry, her purse, the couch, her bedroom and closet - and found nothing. Apparently, she had just noticed the watch was gone and we have no way of knowing when she lost it or where.

(EDIT: Though apparently it wasn't too long ago, seeing as she just found it under the nightstand. W00T~)

So that was this morning's installment of weirdness.

Also, a note to self for future reference: Don't randomly decide to do Script Frenzy when you're moving in, like, three days! Idiot! *sigh* Well, at least it'll force you to get something done... And it is a cool story...

Anywho, I can't start on that until midnight (by which time I will likely be asleep) so that's gonna be kicking around in my brain for a few hours. That's probably not a good thing considering I would like to sleep at some point before the trip.

I'm feeling better and worse at the same time and I'm not sure what to do with that. I guess just be happy about the 46.8% that's better?

Yeah. That's probably for the best.

I think I just need to start on something. I realise I've had this revelation so many times before but here it is again. I was getting so much done when I was paying attention to the months and I had a goal. Doing that for even (not quite) a year made me better. So maybe, and stay with me on this, I just need to keep working so that I feel like working. Huh.

Maybe that's it. I hope so, anyway. I think I might be able to do that.

(The project is a horror film script for a project called Obscura. Because images. In my head. And the fact that I have three (technically four) days until 'moving day' and OMGWTFBBQ! That's basically how I'm feeling right now. I wonder if last-minute panic is actually a good thing for me? I mean I have a title, basic plot and a rough idea of the opening scene all in the space of... an hour? That usually doesn't happen. But anyway. I'm going to go eat and then maybe plan. Or pack. Packing things might be a good idea. Eep.)

See ya~

30.3.12

Four Days Before

Yeah, quick lesson: Don't watch short horror stories on YouTube. Drew Daywalt, eff you and your short films, Sir. (His films are pretty good, though...)

On the upside, ideas, ideas, ideas and visuals (as much as I may hate them at times) help if I'm trying to combine elements and things like that.

But anyway... Four days. Excuse me, I'm going to step outside and freak out now.

But at least I have writing. And books. And anime. Those things help.

I haven't even packed things up yet... That's bad. Still need to bleach my teeth too. Not looking forward to that. In fact I'm just kind of 'ick' in general and have been for several days. I'm not sure if it's stress or what but I wish it would go away.

I also wish I had something more interesting to say. The most interesting thing I've done today is gone into town and picked up 'The Girl Who Kicked The Hornet's Nest', followed a character RP tumblr, and managed to outline a little. That is not that interesting to most of the population. (Of course, A) most of the population isn't reading this and B) I didn't really set out to be interesting so... that doesn't actually matter that much, I guess.)

Still, what is my life? Really?

I don't have too much longer until it's 'Into the truck with you!' so I think it's fair to say I'm a little stressed about that. I have to pack things up and do laundry and all that stuff I keep putting off because my stomach hurts and I feel sluggish. Once again, ick.

So I'm going to stop whining at you guys now and... do something. Maybe write? I think I need to...

See ya~

26.3.12

Eight Days Before

Where did the time go? 0.o

Really? Even basically keeping this day by day doesn't really help - I'm still like wait, what?

It doesn't help that most of the scenes I can come up with in my head right now tend to lead me to think 'Remind me to kill you in your sleep' at at least one of the characters.

I'm just a bundle of nerves and crazy right now... and my stomach hurts.

But I've been reading manga and generally ignoring my problems with the world at large so it's all good. And there are so many problems to be ignored.

I usually try to have at least something to say in these things but aside from the fact that fictional characters fascinate me, I have a weird stance on what I'd allow (legally) people to do with any writing of mine that was actually sold and that I'm very, very tired due to other people's jackassery, there isn't much for me to say.

So... yeah. I'm gonna go try to stay awake now.

See ya~

(OMG A WEEK LEFT TOMORROW GAH)

</sleepyblogpost>

24.3.12

Ten Days Before

I'm going to sum this up for you in one sound: 'NNNNNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!' *flails into walls*

Yeah. I'm freaked out. So much so that I'm listening to geeks (like me) talking about anime and manga. They're actually bringing up a lot of good points about dubs and adaptations and translations and things. Awesome ^^

I had a cheese sandwich and that makes me happy. Because apparently I'm easy to please.

I really should be packing or something, I guess. Clearly that's not going to happen because I'm very lazy but I probably should be. Clothes, books and maybe a few DVDs. That's about all aside from basic trip stuff (toothpaste and the like).

I started thinking a while ago about fashion and subcultures. Because that's just what I do. I figured out that I don't really fit subcultures. (Yes, you read that right. I am too weird for subcultures.) Basically, I take things that I like from the ones I run across and leave the rest if it doesn't fit me. Like, fashion-wise I'm somewhere between goth, cybergoth, steampunk, cyberpunk, J-Rock, Victorian and what I've termed 'cyberpop' and 'cyber-andro' (or andro-punk), respectively. Basically if I think something's shiny and pretty and interesting/cool, I'll probably wear it if I can get my hands on it/make it.

I just noticed that I need to check my email more often. I also noticed just how many of my stories have a crime/mystery element to them. This could be a very good thing.

So, I think I'm going to go and possibly work on... something productive. What, I don't know but something.

See ya~!

23.3.12

Eleven Days Before

Rather liking Rotersand right now. Cool band is cool. War on Error sparks way too many scene ideas though.

This is what my mind does: I had the idea to take graham crackers, melt chocolate and get/make that strawberry/raspberry filling you get in doughnuts, then throw that in a thick layer on one cracker, run veins of chocolate through it, press the second cracker on top and seal the things around the edges with the chocolate. Chill it so it doesn't make so much of a mess and then eat the hell out of it.

Yeah.

I'm hungry. Can you tell?

Hopefully, I can stay awake until around noon or one today. That should help my schedule out quite a bit.

BRB - *dancing like a freak to Tanz die Revolution*

You know, if I can focus on one story at a time, it's easier. From there I can go one story arc at a time an then one chapter at a time and that should help.

I'm just figuring things out all over the place today. Now all I have to do is... well, do them. And therein lies the problem.

This has officially gotten rambly and stupid, I think, now. You can tell I'm tired. I'm not, actually (although I am contradicting myself a lot). Which is weird considering I've been up since about 6 last night.

This is going nowhere...

I'll see you guys later when I have something other than music to talk about. Even talking about writing at length would be favourable to this. *sigh* Maybe I can go beg for food? That seems like a good idea.

*crickets*

I'm just kind of freaking out and trying to kill time, I think. I suddenly don't want to sleep but I kind of expected that, to be fair. I'll crash eventually. For now I'm in that weird state where you kind of want to work but you're too tired to.

I actually wound up thinking about whether Tiger and Bunny has the potential to be an anime classic. I mean, it's a much more nuanced and layered, character-driven story than I think I've ever seen in anime. It has that potential at least. Added onto that, it seems to have opened the doors in a very non-obvious way to characters that are not straight/white/male/cis-gender/ and in general don't 'fit in' in that sense. I've never seen that done in such a simple, non-obvious way before. Aside from all of the fans and all of the debate surrounding the show, I think there's potential just from that.

If nothing else, I think I'd say it has potential if for nothing else than the fact that it got people talking.

But that's just me, of course. And now, I'm going to go beg for food and then maybe sleep. At some point.

See ya~!

22.3.12

Twelve Days Before

I believe the correct term for this feeling of low-grade panic is 'Shit just got real'.

I think maybe staying up for a little while today (like until maybe ten or eleven) and then sleeping and then staying up later the next day and flipping my schedule in stages might be easier/more effective. I hope so at least, because I am cold and tired and I want to curl up somewhere warm and not move for a few hours.

Not much has been happening lately, aside from stress, stress and more stress. I've been having this issue where I know that I should be working (sometimes I even want to work) but I just can't seem to focus long enough to get anything done. I don't know what this is but it's not fun.

This isn't really a new occurrence it's just really, really annoying right now. I do get the feeling that things will just work differently once we get moved and settled. I'm not sure why, I just think that will be the case. Possibly because, much like a Victorian heroine, the temperature affects my temperament.

I started thinking as I stared around my room earlier, figuring up what I want to take. Thankfully, there isn't much that I really need aside from basic stuff on this first trip. Room is always good when moving.

I think I'll probably be asleep soon so I hope my day-living readers have a wonderful day and I will try to check in again when I'm slightly less nocturnal... hopefully with an actual point.

OMG, only twelve days left? *hyperventilates* *froths at the mouth* *falls over*

I'm okay. *twitch*

Seventeen Days Before

And 100th post.

Wow. Time goes fast 0.o

You know what I want once I get settled? I mean, in terms of food? Salad, fresh fruit, good cheese, nuts, tea, German chocolate and basically anything along those lines. Health food cravings, I has them.

And I have a sudden urge to make hair things. Like yarn falls but more than that too. Like, use the yarn but layer different colours or braid it in layers and interesting things like that. And cyberlox. And maybe even working with false hair. I think that just feeds into every other creative impulse I have but still...

I blog a lot. I'm like just now realising this. As of this post, I have 100 entries on here. Wow. Just... wow.

I think I'm going to spend a little while watching sewing things now... I have so many clothing ideas ;_; (Maybe if I get good enough I can jump in with that little writer/artist circle that produced the anthology as like, their costume designer or official cosplay designer or something. I mean, they already have perfume and tea for their projects. That would be so fun ;A; )

Guess that should be enough of a kick in the tail, huh? Once we're some degree of settled, I do want to do a little more of that. Or any at all. Any would be a good start - WHY AM I SO LAZY!? *headdesk*

It's okay... things are slowly coming together and that's a good thing. I don't think it's so much 'I don't wanna do this' stress as 'I wanna get going' stress. I think that's more like what I'm feeling now.

Why is it that sometimes the scariest things in life wind up being the most fun?

Nineteen Days Before

Also known as *headdesk* *flail* I keep seeing a weebly little thing running in circles in my head, flailing and going 'OHMYGODOHMYGODOHMYGOD...' 'Cause that's about how I feel. Yeah.

Otherwise, it's been a decent day. I slept through most of it. Then I ate food. It was good, though. It was a toasted wheat bread sandwich with just tomato, cheese, mayonnaise and a little bit of oil and vinegar. ... My tastes are weird, huh? ^^

I'm kind of working on something involving vampires vs. aliens. *sniffly laughter* It's so cool. My two loves - vampires and cyberpunk <3

Beyond that, not much has happened though that may be because I'm too 'doll mode: activated' to notice.

Things are just... all bunched up. I kinda wanna go shopping. I almost never wanna go shopping. WTF? 0.o I'm getting so weird lately... but I get the feeling that that's a good thing. The change is always weird, I think. Once you get unstuck, you feel a lot better though. ^^

I'm rambling... and kind of hungry again... so, yeah. I'm gonna go scrounge or maybe beg for food and I'll continue to spazz later on~

Bye~

I can haz internet~!

After two days. Two days of no internet, no TV and no fridge.

But. Everything's okay now. Because my time-wasters are firmly back in place. But where to start...

Okay. So I just spent four days on the road and then another... three(?) unpacking my life from its cardboard containers. That's still nowhere near done, by the way. I have a lot of life, apparently.

But we're here, we're basically settled, we have a fridge - I think we're doing okay.

I was followed around and called pretty by one of the movers, including phrases like 'She's so tiny! She's tiny now!' (I have lost weight and I'm really freaking short but still.) This was tempered slightly by the fact that I was in town shopping with my mum and Grandma for most of the time they were there. Most of the remaining time was spent putting night stands together (bruising my hands in the process) and trying to keep said mover from happening to anyone.

That was all very odd. And it didn't help that beforehand the door on the big moving truck was jammed (by a table, I think) so all four of us had to go out and help open it. This resulted in my taking skin off of my knuckles when a suitcase decided it would be funny to slide down the door and trap my fingers.

The night before all of this was spent in a motel in town, eating what I could from McDonald's because it was closest and we were all tired. So we sat in the adjoining room with my grandparents and talked about things. Mainly writing things. I think my grandpa was surprised by how dark my writing was. But on the upside he seemed to be listening to me ramble. Yay~

We also learned the valuable lesson: Don't waste good pizza on trashy women. There's a story in there. But I'm not going to tell it.

Also, backwards chronology is backwards but I don't actually care.

So, Yay, update~! Now I'm going to go back to writing about slightly whorish, gender non-conforming assassins. Awesome.
