No, but really, they have Stylish for Chrome and I was so happy when I found that out - like, you don't even know.
In other news, I have one day left to finish a story for the AugNo anthology this year. Joy. Really, like it has to be in by the time she gets up on the first. And she's on Eastern time. So, yeah.
I'm going to go and maybe write a little. Or I might go upstairs and snag some pizza out of the fridge. Yeah. That sounds like a good idea right now. I don't know anymore. I have to figure out what's going on with this freaking story...
And than I have to go back and edit.
Yay.
This has been a pointless update to let you all know that I'm still alive.

Better Update
Section One: School
Section 1-A: Driving School
Yes, I get/have to go to driving school, starting on the thirteenth. I'll be surrounded by people younger than me. Oh, joy. The instructor should be all right though, so that's something. At least I don't have to actually drive until about the third lesson and I could get my learner's permit without taking the written because I was enrolled.
Section 1-B: College
College is bound to be interesting. I have a Freshman year course, a math class, an English class and a Psych 101 class. Awesome. Also, the school has this giant staircase that leads up from the parking lot. They call it 'Cardiac Lane'. Gee, I wonder why.
House
We have a house now. We can move in as soon as it closes, which should be around the time school starts, of course. Because everything happens at once in my world.
It's a nice house though. It's all one level but I don't hate that as much as I thought I might. And I'll have like an office/craft room, so that's cool.
Writing
I'm working on several things at the speed of continental drift right now. But today's been better at least. Things are slowly getting done. Slowly.
I'm thinking of just skipping the whole find an agent/publisher thing and just throwing things out under my own banner - my own company. If nothing else it would be a learning experience, right? Of course, this is all just me kicking around ideas.
Anyway...
I'll be back when I'm less overheated and more likely to spend more than about five minutes on a real post. *headdesk*

Updates
Because a metric buttload has happened.
First off, I get me a little better now. I just spent two weeks with my father and his parents and I kind of get my thought processes a little more now. I got a lot from his side of the family in terms of varied interests (and laziness, apparently). But I have two new sewing machines (a Singer Red Eye and a Nelco) and an Appalachian Lap Dulcimer. It's cool ^^
Over those two weeks, I've made a small quilt and developed a taste for iced coffee. And huckleberry stuff. So that was fun. Montana's kind of nice, actually.
Secondly, writing. I've been wanting to write ALL THE THINGS lately. This includes writing scripts for 'Nucl3arsnake: Hacker Extraordinaire.' Yeah. This is what my life has become... and I kind of love it. I feel like I can just relax and be creative when things like that happen.
Thirdly, cosplay. There are two characters I'd like to get a workable outfit for: Francis Pritchard from Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Johnny C. from Johnny the Homicidal Maniac. I am not a sane person, clearly, but those two just stick in my head.
Fourth: House. We have a house. And such a fine house it is. No, really, I do like the place. It's the exact opposite of what I wanted at first but I still like it.
This is a condensed version of what's been going on but that's basically what my last two weeks have been.
Now, I'm too warm and feeling a little like I want to scream so I think I'll go back upstairs and try not to get in the way anymore than I am already.
This happens a lot but it's still annoying. Wish I knew more how to fix these little personality... things I have.

Or 'I'm sorry, Mom, I keep forgetting to turn my phone on.'
Let's see...
I'm still a little skittish around my other Grandma but that's slowly wearing off. She told me how she managed to keep hitting Grandpa Bud in the face with water from the sprinkler (four times!) while she was moving it around the yard. Then she was talking about when she and Grandpa Bud met. Before then, when she was about 19, I guess, she worked on base and one time everyone went out for steak - like a dinner party. She was still uncomfortable about using silverware then and when she tried to cut her steak, it wouldn't cut. So she pushed on the knife a little harder. Nothing. She pushed a little harder and the steak flew across the table. So, she was embarrassed, of course and had to live that down for a while.
But when she and my other grandpa went out, they had steak again. She was a little annoyed at first because she'd told him about that. She sat there and watched him cut his steak into bite-sized pieces... and then he switched plates with her.
So that went from funny to sweet ^^
Also, Grandpa Bud managed to soak the carpet under their bedroom window yesterday because he turned the sprinklers on while the window was open. So that's funny, too.
I met so many people. Like Sandy, who I think makes dolls or doll clothes and has a little wiggly dog named 'Gidget' who always wants to be picked up. And Derry, the library janitor. He's cool. And a nice but plastic-looking woman named Wendy. And Victor, who's from the Ukraine. And Daniel, the preacher's son (I think).
So, yeah, lot of people.
I have my sewing machine. It's a Singer 'Red Eye' model and I love it. I kind of want to make a quilt or something now. Dad has a book on quilting.
And I have food now. Like, cherries and rice and things. And a new movie. I found 'Thor' in the place we stopped to get things so that worked out well. I'd been meaning to see it and I just never got around to it.
I've been meaning to write, too but I tend to leave my computer downstairs because I'm lazy and don't want to carry it upstairs again. Plus, Dad stays up late and I'm usually out with him. The first day I was here, we were out past midnight. Last night, we were up into about 1:30. Not exactly conducive to writing. He did let me hold different handguns though and that's cool. I'm hoping we can get to the range next week.
There's an Xbox 360 upstairs - the room I'm sleeping in - so the lack of TV and internet isn't as bad as it could be. He has Assassin's Creed and Halo 2 and Red Faction so those are good for killing time. Aside from my random crying jags, things are going pretty well. (Grandma always worries when I'm crying, even though I tell her I'm okay.)
This was a really rambling post but I'm still trying to figure out... everything, really, so I guess that's to be expected. I'm starting to see where I get a lot of my weirdness though. Like 'Thank you, dear'. He says that, too.
I have strawberries now so I'm going to go and eat. Take care, everyone. I'll try to get my thoughts more in order soon and not ramble so much.

Okay
Things aren't awful. I'm blogging from the local library since it's the only place with internet but other than that, it's okay here. Dad walked me through his shop and showed me all the old sewing machines he's picked up. Apparently the wasps here don't bother you. Like, there was one in there but he didn't attack us. He kind of looked like he's apologise if he bumped into you... Weird.
Here's my room:
It's fairly big and really cozy. It's upstairs and there's no screen in the window but the bugs don't seem too interested in me (thank God).
Staircase:
And from the top:
I don't have a lot of pictures of the place since things were kind of a little awkward and I didn't want to start snapping pictures like a tourist. This, though, I needed to get. This is my upstairs bathroom:
Well, this is the actual bathroom, through the door to your left:
It's clean - it's just small and kind of antique. It's interesting, to say the least. But the place is really clean and nicely-decorated and I feel kind of safe and homey there so it could be much worse.
'What is this?'
'These are eyeglasses (megane).'
I can ask and respond to this in Japanese now. So that's cool ^^
My other grandmother seems kind of skittish around me but I think that's wearing off. She doesn't really drop too many words anymore and her accent is a little less obvious, too so that makes it a little easier on the both of us.
I'm sitting around in the library right now. Dad went off to hunt down vegetables and things. He said we could maybe have a stir-fry tomorrow night. And OMG, guys, the baby carrots here are so sweet! They're locally grown and you can tell.
So. I'll be spending most of tonight reading and probably writing a little (I want to work on 'Coyote Randy') . I hope everyone is doing well and will continue to be doing well for as long as I'm away.
Also, I just heard that Deus Ex: Human Revolution is being made into a movie. For simplicity's sake, I'll spare you my spazzing about that until another day but OMG!
I just heard my father comment that he didn't understand carrot anatomy so I should probably go and see what that's about. Until later, guys and dolls. I'll try to come back with pictures!
Bye for now~

I'm in Wyoming
And the place we're staying at is like, waterfall-in-the-lobby, on-site-restaurant-with-gourmet-macaroni-and-cheese upscale.
I just can't even... Wow. It's only seven-forty here and I'm just like wired on exhaustion. And sugar. A fair amount of sugar.
On the way up, we saw misplaced apostrophes and a sign for a repair shop that offered '24 hr. toe service'. So yeah.
We wound up at a Holiday Inn and guys... let me just show you. These are the rooms this time:
And this is part of the lobby:
This is another part of the lobby, with 'The Greenery' restaurant:
And then there's this (the waterfall from the front):
Also this:
I just can't even get over how beautiful this place is. I want to decorate a space like this when and if I ever have the space to do something like this.
Tomorrow, I'll be in the Mountain Spirit Inn (I think) in Montana. I'll be staying with my father and my other grandparents for about two weeks. I'm hoping this is a good visit. I haven't seen my other grandparents in about 7 years and that's a long time.
I really haven't seen my Japanese grandmother, Yoko, in forever and she makes me nervous. Not really in a bad way - we're just so different. She still has a strong accent from what I remember so I really have to listen when she talks. I hope we can get along, though. There's a lot I'd like to learn from both her and my dad.
So, I'll probably check in tomorrow and spazz and be insanely nervous because I'll probably meet up with my father the day after. For now, though, I think I'll try to go to sleep. It's a shorter day tomorrow but still, I don't want to be falling asleep in the car.

Literal Blog Post
Because I'm bored and suddenly want to do things.
But first, here. Have a turtle the size of a grape:
Also, this link: 32 Pictures that will make you say 'Awwwww'
You should probably click that. It made my day better ^^
Anyway.
Things I'd like to get (back) into:
- Martial Arts. Specifically, Northern Shaolin Kung-Fu, Capoeira, and Krav Maga interest me the most.
- Parkour
- Performance art in general
- And a lot of other things I don't have the time or money for right now.
I'm posting pointless things like that because I am yet again freaking out. This time because of life in general. You know what's stupid? I'm more nervous about going to see my father for about two weeks than I am about starting school or most other things.
Also I stayed up too late last night. First I was writing but then I heard the cat coughing and so I went out into the hallway to sit with her until she stopped and when she did she fell asleep on me.
So yeah.
I'll be leaving out of here on Saturday. And then it's a three-day trip to South Dakota where I'll have to get set up for school. From there I'll go to Montana to spend a little while with my dad and then go back to Washington State before going back to South Dakota for school. See why I'm stressed?
And in the middle of all this, I have to read two books and have enough of the plot nailed down that I can edit effectively. Also the SD driver's manual.
I don't know how people with stressful corporate jobs function.
This was rambling and pointless stress post. We now return you to your regularly-scheduled mayhem.

So, that schedule...
At first I was like this:
ヽ(゚Д゚)ノ
Then I was like this: o(╥﹏╥)o
But today I was like this: _〆(。。)
So now I'm like this: ヽ(*≧ω≦)ノ
(I hope you guys can see these, because they're really cute ^^)
Today did go better than I thought it would, though. I at least have a plan now. And bubblegum. I have bubblegum too. A little dish of it on my desk.
Anyway.
I kind of love my schedule up here. I don't even know why. It just seems... more me? Although I do need to learn to leave my heater turned up so I don't wake up freezing. (We have those little baseboard heaters.)
Aside from that, things are actually going well. Its... what, Saturday? Saturday. Really? *checks again* Huh. Well, Monday is my day to run around so that's not too far off.
I... don't even know what to say here. Nothing earth-shattering has happened but I'm pretty happy. So, I guess that's your update. I'm actually happy. And it's making me want to read and write and do all those creative things.
So yeah.
Bye for now, guys~ I hope you have an awesome day ^^

Things
And things.
It's late and I figured I could bore you all with a rallying post. Well, not so much rallying as 'This is what I need to be doing; hold me to it.'
First, basic schedule:
- Up at 8. Being up at 8 gives me an hour to screw around and still get three hours of work in before noon.
- Work for 3-4 hours. If I can't get something done in three to four hours, I'm doing it wrong.
- Take a break. Check twitter, tumblr, whatever. Eat, stretch, jump around, etc. for maybe a half hour.
- Work again until dinner (5 P.M.)
- Dinner break!
- Digest and then take a walk.
- You're free! Go do something you enjoy/sit around and do nothing.
Even that would be better than what I've got going on now. And that would give me time to get something that should have been done months ago done (finally!) and keeping that schedule will let me work on my website and on a few guidebook things I've been wanting to do. In short, it'll help me get things done. Which I really need to do.
Aside from that, I have a list (actually, a couple of them) that has the key points on it. Things I need to figure out for the website, things I need to make sure I get done before a certain time, etc.
Also, I'm between a couple of stories for a submission call a couple of months from now. Probably have to talk that over with mum and try to figure out which one fits the best. One would have to have more work done on it though. Ack. Why must almost everything I write fit at least some of these categories? *headdesk*
Actually, I think I know which one I want to do but I need to really nail down the plot for it and know where I'm going since it would have a deadline then. I like it though... Even though the doctor character needs a name and I'm not sure of the plot. It's kind of a zombie story... with mutated insects and fun things like that.
Anyway...
This was a simple update-y thing and I hope that I can stick to it because it actually sounds kind of fun. And, no, I don't know why that sounds fun, it just does.
I will check in later, guys. Hopefully with good news ^^

The First Day Spent In
I spent the night on an air mattress on the second floor of a 104-year-old house in a rainy, little logging town. It's like a movie ^^ Except for the fact that that walk up and down the stairs is going to give me calf muscles like a Hungarian shot-putter.
Am currently (as of this typing) watching Alfredo (who is really our mailman) mow the lawn. He's a sweet guy. This is the kind of place where the mailman actually walks around the neighbourhood. I've never lived in a place like that before.
I also figured out I can use the house we're renting in Script Frenzy. Largely because there's nothing creepy actually happening in that house, otherwise I wouldn't be using it. I think it'll be the main character's grandpa's house.
I did, however, scare my mum yesterday doing that 'The Grudge' crawling thing across the floor. She told me later that if I could have seen how it looked, I probably wouldn't have slept well last night. So apparently, I did it right. (I wasn't trying to freak her out, I promise.)
But things are falling into place. I have a desk (that needs to be carted up the stairs and put together). But it's such a cool desk. It's one of those L ones with the hutch thing (with the spaces and shelves and little doors). Awesome. Except now I have to carry it piece-by-piece up the stairs and spend probably several hours putting it together.
But I found out something cool: The mayor of the town lives, like, right next door to us.
Other than that, the day has been spent playing with the baseboard heaters, eating cold Chinese food (from Safeway), watching TV and wishing people would get here to deliver things. Then they did. And it was well past the time they said they'd be here. But that actually turned out to be a good thing because, in all honesty, we needed to stay in and slow down today. We've been going pretty much non-stop since we left Golden Valley, which was a little over a week ago. So, we're a little tired.
Now, since I'm getting hungry, I think I'll wrap this up and go get something to eat. Take care, dears and I will see you all soon~!
(Blogger Preview is apparently now a pop-up so until I can get that figured out, you're getting the non-previewed post. Exciting, isn't it?)

I can haz internet~!
After two days. Two days of no internet, no TV and no fridge.
But. Everything's okay now. Because my time-wasters are firmly back in place. But where to start...
Okay. So I just spent four days on the road and then another... three(?) unpacking my life from its cardboard containers. That's still nowhere near done, by the way. I have a lot of life, apparently.
But we're here, we're basically settled, we have a fridge - I think we're doing okay.
I was followed around and called pretty by one of the movers, including phrases like 'She's so tiny! She's tiny now!' (I have lost weight and I'm really freaking short but still.) This was tempered slightly by the fact that I was in town shopping with my mum and Grandma for most of the time they were there. Most of the remaining time was spent putting night stands together (bruising my hands in the process) and trying to keep said mover from happening to anyone.
That was all very odd. And it didn't help that beforehand the door on the big moving truck was jammed (by a table, I think) so all four of us had to go out and help open it. This resulted in my taking skin off of my knuckles when a suitcase decided it would be funny to slide down the door and trap my fingers.
The night before all of this was spent in a motel in town, eating what I could from McDonald's because it was closest and we were all tired. So we sat in the adjoining room with my grandparents and talked about things. Mainly writing things. I think my grandpa was surprised by how dark my writing was. But on the upside he seemed to be listening to me ramble. Yay~
We also learned the valuable lesson: Don't waste good pizza on trashy women. There's a story in there. But I'm not going to tell it.
Also, backwards chronology is backwards but I don't actually care.
So, Yay, update~! Now I'm going to go back to writing about slightly whorish, gender non-conforming assassins. Awesome.

Texas! Now with more Texas!
*flops backward onto the bed*
Ow... Nice room, though.
So. I can't remember what motel I was in last night. And I spent some of last night in a bar in Beaumont, Texas. And today I saw someone's cock in the parking lot. So it's been an eventful trip.
(Get your mind out of the gutter. I can't remember the motel because I'm travelling (moving) and a little scattered, I was in the bar (and restaurant) waiting for my food and the cock was a rooster. Which I'm still not sure about. I mean, why was there a rooster in a parking lot? Anyway...)
I'm very tired and I'm full of veggies like a happy bunny so this is just a quick update while I'm stopped for the night. Sometimes I hate travelling. But it's always such an adventure.

New Theme
And just so you know, the small buttons at the bottom of the side panel there? They don't work right now. I'll probably figure them out later but for right now, they're fine as they are. I love Victorian stuff, guys, so this is really pretty to me.
Writing is slowly being fun again, so that's something good. Well, aside from the fact that I have no f-ing idea what I'm doing. But that's not something I should be focused on now, right? Right.
I think for the rest of the month I'll work on what I can when I can - meaning, I'll go through paragraph by paragraph and edit (and then get the other two chapters and the outline done) while I'm bouncing back and forth with other projects. I know that seems a little counter-productive but I've found I actually get more done when I'm multitasking.
Editing really means Rewriting this month. So I'm struggling a little with that. I've noticed that writing in first person is way easier for me but some stories that I want to do wouldn't work well with a single narrator. So that's going to be fun. All a writing exercise though, I guess.
YouTube changed and now it's weird. I don't have a search bar on anything but the first page and that first page is pretty much a cluttered mess. So I'm not exactly happy with it. But (much like losing the nose piece on one side of my glasses or not being sure if you want to shop around or go with your 'agent on retainer' as it were) it's a first world problem.
So yeah. There's your update. Hope you enjoyed it since it's pretty positive overall.

The update hub
It's day two of AugNoWriMo. I managed to snag the sixth spot on the main list for Milestone this year. Now I just have to stay on the list. ^^ I'm going back and forth between two stories I want to write for it though.
I am...way behind. But I can fix it. And I will. Because I keep writing in short sentences. (Really, I'm about 5k behind where I want to be. Ack.)
Other than that, not much has been going on. Karen's creeping me out but that's not really anything new. I know for a fact that her camera is fine. Those pictures were clear as they always were. I'm pretty sure she'll get tired of messing with me and move on to something else within the next few days though so I'm not too worried. She gets distracted pretty easily.
Anyway, I went and had lunch a little while ago and now I'm all full and happy ^^ so I need to get back to work (also I mistyped 'little' as 'lirrtle' the first time and am still laughing.) So, anyway....onward to mediocrity! (And I want a Memo Panda - a small sticky-note dispenser in the shape of a panda bear. Too bad they don't exist.)

NaNoEdMo and MarNoWriMo
NaNoEdMo: 48.6%
MarNoWriMo: 14,345 / 20,000
So things are actually going decently. For once. Oh, and Karen begged me to take 'Slayers International' as my Script Frenzy project...and I said 'yes'. So there's something else to look forward to.
For the record, yes, I will be doing Script Frenzy this year along with everything else I have to do. But that's okay.
I'll try to update a little more often once I get my schedule straightened around. Again.
Bye, bye DEATH~ (Kuro-Geek coming through there...>.>)
