7.5.13

I don't feel like I've had a break in a month.

I think that's a large part of why I feel so anxious (and sick and shaky and I can't sleep and when I do I have nightmares and I haven't wanted to eat in about three days). I'm also having a lot of trouble focusing on homework and, weirdly enough, this really started after I watched a couple videos of people playing Polybius. Guess what I won't be doing again.

I've been staying up too late as a result of all of it. I've also been researching MK ULTRA - you know, the whole CIA thing? It's really very interesting. I'm not sure how much of the more modern theories I can get behind but they're still interesting.

I've dimmed my brightness on this computer screen way down and that's helping the headache a little. Not a lot, but a little.

I've started working on my site again. It's not much but it will showcase my writing and help get the company off the ground (hopefully). I'll have to replace the first six chapters of something with the edited versions but that doesn't take too long. I was hoping to have those edits done by Friday but I kind of doubt that's going to happen, so I'm just shooting for 'as soon as is reasonably possible'. That's about all you'll be getting from me for a little while, I'm afraid.

Um...

My scaffold is doing okay. The front... hole (giggity) on the outside is still a little hurty when I clean it but the rest of them don't bother me at all.

Oh, and today in Psych, we were talking about echoic memory (and the fact that what someone says is stored from 3 to 4 seconds in your brain's 'echo chamber' - that's why you can usually repeat it back to them right after they say it but if you wait too long, it disappears) and one of the examples we gave (they had us in groups) was a small child repeating everything his mother said. One day she gave him the 'How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood' rhyme, and I was the only one who knew the rest of it (A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood). So that was pointless but it made me feel better.

I remember saying 'That's been in my head for years - I knew it would come in handy one day' and the girl in the group laughed (kinda loudly, too. ... She was kind of cute. Anyway...)

I have one essay for English that I haven't even read yet. That alone should tell you how bad this has been. The fact that I felt like that almost first-draft paper was the best I do - all I could handle right now - should be another red flag. I'm going to give that a little while and wait until I feel like I can work on it without feeling like I want to vomit.

So, yeah. I haven't been feeling well lately is... is, I guess the - the main bullet point of this little presentation.

But that seems to be... well, evening out a little. I have a headache but for right now, that's about all I can really, deeply complain about. Still, I'm seeing several days like this in my future. So that's fun.

Anyway... this was kind of rambling and the TL;DR version is: I'm feeling a little unstable and insane lately. I can't focus, I don't sleep well, I don't want to eat. I want to write but I feel so... off that I can barely do that. Things hurt. Things hurt and I'm tired a lot.

So. I think I'm going to post this and then be quiet for a while. Maybe try to get a few sentences down, listen to my music, and try to sleep.

I hope you're all doing well, and I'll see you later.

Nineteen: Strange Facts and Useless Information

At one point during the 1970s, musician David Bowie weighed a grand total of 95 pounds, hardly a healthy weight for a man standing 5'11" This would put his BMI at 13.2. The cutoff for underweight is 18.5.

For comparison, I am 5'3". For my BMI to be 13.2, I would have to weigh around 74-75 pounds.

This has been your strange fact for the day. Now, on to the Useless Information section of the post!

Wants:
A good (free or not) site
A forum for said site
A Wiki for said site

Needs:
To work on writing for said site
To work on other projects for said site
To work on said site
To work on said Wiki

So...

Anyone know of a good website builder? It needs to support a store and a forum (aim for the stars, right? I'm trying to plan ahead).

Webs.com is looking like the best choice, all in all if I'm going to have the store but I'd value other input.

Plus, I'll probably stick with Weebly for the actual previews and all that.

*sigh*

I want a business license when we get settled. And a solid block of ISBNs. And I mean, like, a block I could kill somebody with. None of that 'What, you call this a block? You call this a block? I wouldn't hit a guy over the head with this block!' kind of crap.

...

I'm wound up - can ya tell?

No, I just... it's been decided and now I want to, say it with me, DO ALL THE THINGS! (Very good.) But, of course, I'm limited by own work ethic at this point. That and an inability to do things without a business license... and an apparent inability to get past the whole 'what if this fails' thing. What if it does? That's why I'm using only free stuff right now. That way, if it doesn't fail, I'll have the money and the support to pay for my own sites and all that happy crap.

See? It's all fine.

Now, calm down and work, okay?

(Yes, I am talking to myself. What of it?)

Suddenly all I want to do is find people who know FAKE well enough to write with me and do a criminal AU. Yes, I'm weird, but you're gonna hav'ta deal.

I am, apparently, weird enough to have an idea for a cyberpunk opera... when I'm totally not a songwriter.

So...

That's where that's at.

I'm gonna go and try to get chapter one of a thing I've been working on done, since it's kind of a test the waters chapter.

Plus, my sleep schedule seems to not want to be anything but f-ed up and I need to go driving. So that's frustrating. It's just so quiet and calm in here at night. Things get all bunched up energy-wise during the day. If you've ever been in a place where people are very stressed out and you can just feel it in the air, you know what I'm talking about.

Anyway. I will see you all later and I hope you have a very good day.

Bye for now, guys <3

Entry the Fifth: Jezzy sucks at Dead Space 2

I think I'll just keep dying in Dead Space 2. Forever.

Seriously, on like the first boss. I don't have nearly enough ammo, I have one medpack, no credits and my stasis recharge is shit.

This thing jumps up from behind this crashed train-thing and then you have to run around like a nugget trying not to die. And all you have is a plasma cutter. Needless to say I'm frustrated.

I got closer the last time but then I ran out of ammo.

*headdesk*

This is a very simple fight! Why do I keep dying?!

*sigh*

Also, can I stop having ideas for a few seconds? Please? I don't want them to go away completely but I'd like a break.

*sigh* I have a headache.

(Being a day ahead on this is weird.)

I've been screwing around with weebly again. I like the look better now at least. Now I just need to... what's that word again? Write!

And, since I seem to be not giving a damn today and I just came across another idea like this in a forum today, I'll go ahead and say it - I cannot stand 'flipped prejudice' books. Anything like 'Save the Pearls' or anything where heterosexuality is the 'issue', I just... no. Something about it just grates on me. If you want to write about the dynamics of oppression, write about oppressed groups.

Anyway... I don't need to rant and rave about something like this - it's just my opinion and no one's asking me to write it or review it.

What was I going on about before that? Well, Dead Space 2, of course. But...

Well, another thing is that I just can't seem to focus but, as you all know, this is a common complaint of mine. So...

I'm considering just marathoning all of the Minecraft Movies I can find. Something tells me that would be a famously bad idea though...

I'm still considering it.

That aside, I think I'll be awake for a while and probably trying to figure out what goes where in my room, since this will likely be posted just after midnight here.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day and I will make more of an effort to stay on topic in following posts. Because this one was probably on the verge of deserving this gif:

Yeah.

Bye for now, everyone!

Like someone liquified a cucumber

Nonsensical blog post title will make sense soon. Promise.

First off, I love my family. Like, I always do but it's just going to be extra-obvious right now. You have been warned.

I have, currently: Assassin's Creed, Assassin's Creed: Brotherhood, Dead Space, Dead Space 2, Devil May Cry 1-3, Deus Ex: Human Revolution and Heavy Rain. I started with Dead Space 2 since I didn't have Dead Space until today. (I'm up to where you actually get your first suit and don't have to run around in a straightjacket anymore.)

Here are some of them:

(I'm kind of proud of that Devil May Cry find.)

I also have Fallout: New Vegas on order. It's the Ultimate Edition. So yeah. *SQUEE*

Second, NaNoWriMo. I have such an idea. Seriously. Project blog is here. I really love where this is heading but we'll see how I feel once things get started. It's basically a pseudo-love story (in a psychological way. Like, learn to love yourself, I guess would be the main... the main bullet point of what I'd be trying to get across.) I have a scrapped meeting scene that I might throw up there. Emily was a little too quick to snap at him but Randy was fairly accurate, I think.

Thirdly, website. I think I figured out why it looked so cluttered and how to get around it. Two words: Library Page. It just condenses things and makes it so much easier for me to organise. For some reason all I want to do is get off my tail and actually jump in with the art thing. I guess, now that I have something I'd like to do for a money-making career (as much as I hate that word) I feel like I can be an artist without stressing so much over 'what if this doesn't sell?' because so what? At least I had fun, right?

Fourth, I want to be a mortician. Is that weird? I don't think it's weird but my sense of 'weird' is a little off anyway.

Also, I figured out how to make a 'Cucumberry' drink. If you don't know what that is, don't worry - I just made it up. What it is is this:

Yes, the bottle on the left is this:

And, yes, it does in fact taste like someone liquified a cucumber.

But that's not really the point. The point is that mixing this with a fair bit of the Huckleberry drink results in something that is actually really good. (Mr. Q. Cumber is actually pretty good - it's just really strong.) It winds up tasting like something that should be served in a martini glass with a fresh huckleberry at the bottom.

Also, I found this:

And I thought I'd share because that's really kind of beautiful. It was hanging in my dad's room in Montana when I went to visit.

I like my family. Not a lot of people seem to be able to say that but I really do.

So, bye for now, everyone. I hope you have an awesome day~

15.9.12

*backflips into the sun*

I'm torn between that and asdfghjkl; because I manged to outline up to chapter seven without getting stuck. (FMC called her best friend to talk about MMC - I have no idea how/what she's feeling about him and the whole situation so I'm kind of stuck as to what she'd say and what her best friend might tell her. Might need to talk to mum about that, see if I can't figure out just WTH.)

Also thinking about the website and what I might want to do with that. I don't know how much of a story I might want to put up, what the final license should be on it (Honestly, I don't like how restrictive copyright is, but there's a balance in there.), and what I might want to add, lose, shuffle around, do something different with, eat, etc.

Basically, I'm bursting with creative energy and I have no idea what to do. I want to DO ALL THE THINGS! Like, seriously, I wish I had a good pattern and my sewing machine... and a canvas and some paint... and a more solid idea of where I was headed with the story... and someone awake at this hour and willing to cook with me... and a night scene to shoot with my actors.

So... what the heck is wrong with me, exactly?

I guess I'm just feeling good for once.

And my camera does, in fact, record audio meaning I can vlog, film and generally be a problem for the privacy of those around me. Awesome.

Anywho... I'm probably going to wibble around here for a while, maybe retool some of the site until I find something I don't hate. Why are themes I like so limited...?

Night, everyone~!

25.4.12

Things

And things.

It's late and I figured I could bore you all with a rallying post. Well, not so much rallying as 'This is what I need to be doing; hold me to it.'

First, basic schedule:

- Up at 8. Being up at 8 gives me an hour to screw around and still get three hours of work in before noon.

- Work for 3-4 hours. If I can't get something done in three to four hours, I'm doing it wrong.

- Take a break. Check twitter, tumblr, whatever. Eat, stretch, jump around, etc. for maybe a half hour.

- Work again until dinner (5 P.M.)

- Dinner break!

- Digest and then take a walk.

- You're free! Go do something you enjoy/sit around and do nothing.

Even that would be better than what I've got going on now. And that would give me time to get something that should have been done months ago done (finally!) and keeping that schedule will let me work on my website and on a few guidebook things I've been wanting to do. In short, it'll help me get things done. Which I really need to do.

Aside from that, I have a list (actually, a couple of them) that has the key points on it. Things I need to figure out for the website, things I need to make sure I get done before a certain time, etc.

Also, I'm between a couple of stories for a submission call a couple of months from now. Probably have to talk that over with mum and try to figure out which one fits the best. One would have to have more work done on it though. Ack. Why must almost everything I write fit at least some of these categories? *headdesk*

Actually, I think I know which one I want to do but I need to really nail down the plot for it and know where I'm going since it would have a deadline then. I like it though... Even though the doctor character needs a name and I'm not sure of the plot. It's kind of a zombie story... with mutated insects and fun things like that.

Anyway...

This was a simple update-y thing and I hope that I can stick to it because it actually sounds kind of fun. And, no, I don't know why that sounds fun, it just does.

I will check in later, guys. Hopefully with good news ^^

19.4.12

Orthorexia Nervosa

Basically, orthorexia nervosa is a non-medically recognized term first used by Steven Bratman to characterize people who develop an obsession with avoiding foods perceived to be unhealthy. Now I realise that, if taken to extreme levels, yes this could be dangerous. However, I'm pretty sure that a lot of people are going to use that as yet another way to rag on vegetarians and vegans.

No, this is not going to be some major rant. I just found it a little odd, is all.

Anyway, what's been going on?

It's cold and rainy here so that's awesome.

Also, I got to thinking about English VAs and English dubs in general (since with the Tiger and Bunny English version in the works, there's a fair bit of speculation on the cast). Now, a lot of people are worried about Vic Mignogna potentially being cast. While I don't hate Vic (for example, in the dub of Ouran High School Host Club I think his representation of Tamaki was more true to the character than the slightly snobbish tone the Japanese version had) I don't think he would fit well with the show. Vic is, in many ways, not a voice actor. That isn't to say he's a bad actor - not at all - but he is always Vic. You can always tell when Vic is playing a character because his voice is very distinctive.

In short, I don't hate Vic but I don't feel he could pull off a Tiger and Bunny role. I think his inclusion in the cast would be... rather grating, I'm sorry to say. (Just getting that out there... even though I doubt anyone cares.)

And that leads me to thinking about English dubs in general. Yes, the majority of them are really rough. The actors don't know the characters, the wrong people were cast for the wrong roles and it's in general a trainwreck. And then there are shows like Cowboy Bebop, where the general consensus is that the dub is better than the original Japanese version.

It's really a toss-up as to whether you'll get a good dub of a show or not. A lot of the English VAs do work very hard to get their characters right but, as I've always maintained, there are several ways to read a character and even if they seem to be simple, they're not.

I could go on and on but I won't. Instead I'm gonna jump thought trains and talk about Script Frenzy.

My main character is going insane. Like, 'seeing things' insane. I was not expecting that.

That's about all the updates on that, aside from the fact that I'm I-don't-even-know-how-many pages behind and somehow not panicking.

I don't know why but I just feel like things are okay. I'm not gonna argue with that ^^

There should be pictures of food (and maybe a desk) with the next update. So, you know, look forward to that.

For now, I'm gonna go try to figure out A) my website, B) my stories, C) the basic music, clothes, scents, etc. for those stories and D) what I'm doing with my life.

That last one might not get done for a while.

I'm really rambling and I don't have too much to say so bye for now, guys~ Just wanted to let you all know I'm not dead ^^

13.4.12

Well...

I've become one of those people who takes pictures of their food.

And here they are:

Breakfast -

A banana, an apple spice muffin and a bowl of almond cluster cereal with almond milk.

And dinner -

Coleslaw, pita chips, fiesta bean salad, cheese tortellini (in a sauce I can't pronounce). It is so good.

Okay. I'm done. I just love the food up here. It's all so fresh and just... good. And I had a Dilly Bar. A cherry Dilly Bar. We have a box of cherry and a box of butterscotch now. I regret nothing.

We just got back from the local Safeway and we have apples and I want to juice them or bake them or something. We also have grilled veggie and cheese pizzas and hummus and all kinds of things I wish didn't have to last us so long because I want to eat them.

*calms down* So now on to something that isn't food related, huh?

Script Frenzy. Script Frenzy is actually going decently. By that I mean that I'm almost on page 20 and that means I'm catching up. Alistair is a messed up kid but he's a good guy deep down. Michael's there to keep him from getting killed at least.

And I have so many new ideas up here; it's insane. Some of them are headcanon and fan stories but most of them are just interesting things that I think I could make something out of.

I have a bed now. Like an actual bed, not an air mattress on the floor. It's got this cool black and red comforter on it, too. And the place we went to for the beds was so cool. They had free peanut butter cookies and popcorn. And the delivery guys were nice. They carried the boxes of desk up the stairs for me ^^

We'll go back into town tomorrow for a smaller grocery run and some essentials (that we keep forgetting somehow).

It's kind of weird to think that we'll have to drive three days again to pick up more of our stuff. It feels like we've been here forever. It's just such a community here.

. . .

I watched My Little Pony Friendship is Magic this morning. It was actually really cute.

This is the kind of thing I do up here. Awesome. I also smile at strangers, drink water and eat things I normally wouldn't have eaten on a bet. I'm so different up here it's insane. We've only been up here a week. Wow.

So, I think I'm going to settle in, work on Script Frenzy, probably read back through my NaNoWriMo Novel (which I actually don't hate (yet)) and maybe try to figure out my website. I kind of know what I want to do. I just A) have no idea how to do it effectively (get my name out there as quality) and B) am a little terrified. It would be kind of a leap to put myself out there, even if everything was as ready as it could be.

I'm really rambling in this one since it's getting late and I'm kind of realising just how weird I am by comparison to my 'old self' so bye for now, guys~ I will talk at you all later on. *bounces away*

21.3.12

Thirteen Days Before

I found a recipe for Red Velvet Cheesecake Bars. I just... I can't even... I need to learn to bake.

I also have a headache because I jabbed myself in the nose with my nail and I bled a little. And I just ate a small travel-sized container of peanut butter. So there's that.

I spent a little while trying to figure out Carmen's vocal range... Great, except for the fact that he's not a singer. (Well, he sort of is in that he was classically trained from a fairly young age, has a very good range and is in fact quite good in general - his high notes are clear and strong and he doesn't have to strain for most soprano notes, partially thanks to his experience modulating his voice to pass as female - it's just not a main element of the story.) This is the kind of background I give my characters... not sure if that's good or bad. >.> And I still kind of want to learn French and Russian because of him.

I'm a mess of fictional characters and tangled plots and I'm pretty sure I'm hemorrhaging motivation is what I'm trying to say.

I had a weird idea for this online role-play/ARG thing that was basically participant-run aside from the basic rules and laws of the world. I'm kind of hoping I can find a use for it because it's a cool idea.

I finally thought to pull up my calculator and run the numbers on some of my potential stories. Even at 2,000 words a chapter (and I can say a fair bit in 2,000 words), they come in under the 60,000 word cut off. (Well, the ones I checked already.) The closest one of the two was under the cut by 4,000. The one farthest from the cut was only 44,000. I realise that's just an approximation but it means I might just be able to keep some things to put on that site. And I'm kind of happy about that. One of them, though, came up at 74,000 with just 2k per chapter... it's gonna be a long story, apparently. 0.o

Also spazzing a little over Kalafina. Just a cool band all around ^^

Tired right now. And cold. But I really should stay awake. It'll go a long way toward flipping my schedule back around.

This is becoming kind of stream-of-consciousness...

*later*

Yeah, I fell asleep. But I woke up with new ideas so that's always fun ^^

*sigh* I just need to get off my fuzzy cotton tail, stop project jumping like a little bunny and actually get something done. Unfortunately that's way easier said than done... like so many things in my life.

Also, dwarf hotots. They're white rabbits that look like they have black eyeliner on. They are adorable.

And on that cute mental image, I'm going to go away and maybe, hopefully at least figure out if I'm holding the map correctly since I can't seem to figure out where to start.

See ya~!

19.3.12

Fifteen Days Before

Well, yesterday was both awesome and horrible at different times so here's hoping today can just be awesome.

I woke up at about 2 in the morning and wound up pulling apart a cold omelet to avoid the mushrooms and any soggy bits because, ew. Then I spent a while playing Robot Unicorn Attack. I've figured out that I can react faster if I watch the centre of the screen and don't watch my unicorn. ('Don't watch my unicorn' is a sentence I've never said before.) My high score's 62888 now, though.

*sigh* Look at my life. Look at my choices.

In other news, I'm thinking 'website'. In particular, my website (not the obeyalice one, another one). Here's what I'm thinking: stories (obviously), some with a few chapters up as a preview and a few full stories. Thing is, if I still like that idea later, which stories are which? If it winds up a novel doesn't that run into problems with first print rights? And doesn't that mean I'd have to write the whole thing even if there would only be preview chapters on the site? Because I have a lot of ideas and that's going to take a while. It's... a conundrum. Admittedly not one that needs immediate addressing but still.

I might try to sleep a little more. Too much food and not enough sleep just makes me really tired.

*later*

I checked the blog with this type-analyzer thing and got this:

ESFP - The Performers

The entertaining and friendly type. They are especially attuned to pleasure and beauty and like to fill their surroundings with soft fabrics, bright colors and sweet smells. They live in the present moment and don´t like to plan ahead - they are always in risk of exhausting themselves.

The enjoy work that makes them able to help other people in a concrete and visible way. They tend to avoid conflicts and rarely initiate confrontation - qualities that can make it hard for them in management positions.

Cool.

Although not the best for when I have to organise something...

Fifteen days left. I've basically stopped panicking at this point though. Now I just have to figure out what's going with me on the first trip.

I still can't believe that people pay attention to me online. I mean 74 Twitter Followers, 25 tumblr Followers, a few friends scattered about the writing boards... I don't understand it. I'm not that interesting.

At least I know I'm not just completely insane, right? ^^

So, I have a lot I'd like to figure out. I want to know if that site is even a viable idea or if I should turn it into something else. So, I will (hopefully be awake for most of tomorrow and) check in again when I have another thought I can ramble about.

See ya~!

2.3.12

Thirty-Two Days Before

It's 11:30 in the morning and I'm sitting at the kitchen table between my Mum and my Grandma. Grandpa's in the living room eating soup off of a plate because he's too stubborn to get a bowl.

And it's cozy.

I'm not sure why but it's cozy.

So... I'm sitting around thinking up creative ways to kill people and wondering if you just have to go through the muscle wall to get to the intestines and also how tightly wound they are inside. It's for a book, I swear. I need to be working but it's just not there right now, you know?

I'm hoping I can get around two outlines at least most of the way done before the month is out. They'll probably be crap but at least I'll have something to work with.

In other news, I'm kicking around the idea of websites. Not sure exactly what I'm doing yet but the idea is there and that's something. (I'm thinking about putting chapters/snippets up with a link to where you can buy it at the end of the preview. Of course, this assumes that I have something to sell, which currently I don't. That's in the process of getting fixed, though.)

I'm starting to wonder about this being the month for me to step out of  my writing comfort zone. I liked my comfort zone. It was... not so bloody. But it's one of those 'growing as a writer' things. No matter what I wind up doing for a living, I think I'd rather it be around books.

I'm going to go back to writing... hopefully on something productive and I will see you guys later.

(Post Scriptum - Is the countdown in the post titles making anyone nervous yet?)

9.10.11

Apparently,

My camera doesn't record audio. That sucks. Because I can't vlog. Well, I can, you just won't be able to see/hear me, depending on what I do. Which is fine for a while but what if I want to show off? It also records in a file type that I can't edit in WMM so no edits, no intro... it's just really disappointing.

Oh, well. I'll figure out something. I always do. Maybe I can record the audio track with Audacity? *thinking out loud*

BUT. Upside. I did manage to get a few pictures for you guys. Like this one of the whole GothNo cake (minus the bottom tier because it's not done yet)...

And this one of the topper...

And this one of the Skull Groom, Ichabod, and his orange-banded top hat ^^

Isn't it cool? I think it's cool.

But then again, I'm prone to thinking odd things are cool. Like to me bug-eyed zombie dogs are cool (and really cute).

What else? That was really all I coherently had for this one. Just wanted to show off the cake, really. Oh and I keep getting compliments on my little excerpts on the GothNo site and I'm like *looks around* Really? I don't suck? Have you ever heard the old robot saying 'Does not compute'?

But apparently people like me. And that's pretty awesome. I like things that are awesome.

If you haven't noticed the top bar on this blog (the one that says 'on my site', 'on LiveJournal', 'on the forums' and 'on tumblr') please to be noticing it now. Those are links. They go awesome places. There will eventually be an 'on YouTube' thing if I can get the camera situation worked out.

obeyalice has been updated with the NaNo project title under 'Works in Progress'. Notice that it's a series. Yes, I really do plan this far ahead. I don't mean to; it just happens.

I've gotten a lot more social since I started writing more, you know? It's weird. I'm... chatty about things. I've never been chatty before. I've never wanted to vlog or make things before. Now there are all these ideas in my head. I kind of love it ^.^

So, yeah. I'm going to go and think over a few things for NaNo and that party we're planning over at Arrow of Eloquence (which I'll spazz about here later, don't you worry).

I still have stuff to make for the festival (which I wanted to record for at least a few minutes. ACK). But that needs to get done. The GothNo community is really good at keeping me afloat, though and I'm really grateful for them. *mental hugs*

And I need to wrap this up so,

Bai-bai, DEATH~

(^^^^ If you get this reference, I <3 you. Just sayin')

Thoughts on Trans Matters, Duct tape pens and Lazy girl's Grilled Cheese

I wrote 100,000 words in 29 days. Why? Because I am a psycho. And I'm going to take the rest of the month to not stress about these kinds of things...which really doesn't work because I'll be planning and making things and sketching and working on a short story for the next two days until the next cycle of insanity kicks in. Next month is AugNoWriMo, which means another 100k goal for me. Yay?

I usually try not to talk to much about gender and sexuality matters since I know some people don't agree (and that's fine). But I got to thinking about this today. I'm not transsexual but being bigender does technically put me under the Trans umbrella. Some people have a little trouble reconciling Christian beliefs with a desire to change. I do understand why although I look at the world very differently. In my mind, God doesn't make mistakes. So, why are there transsexual people? To me, it's just a test. And to me, you can pass that test by changing. Because it shows that you care about yourself on the inside where it really matters. But that's just me.

Sorry, I just kind of had an epiphany and wanted to share for some reason.

Now, to avoid this getting too serious, I just spent most of the day making duct tape flower pens. And now it feels like my hands are about to fall off. But that's okay because it was actually kind of fun ^^ I have a dozen now and might make a few more in a little while. They make me smile.

And what else was I going to ramble about? Oh, yeah. I was too lazy to actually make a grilled cheese sandwich today so I actually got it in my head to throw a piece of cheese on a bun into the microwave for about ten seconds and eat that. Yes, I really am that lazy.

I didn't actually have much to say this time. People are on my nerves left and right today about all kinds of things so I think I just wanted to type for a little while about something other than a WriMo. Of course, now that AugNo is about to start, I'll be back to rambling about them by the next post but that's not really the point right now.

I've just been feeling bad lately. No real reason for it, I just have. I'll get things straightened around here pretty soon but until then I'm gonna try not to whine at you guys. It bothers me when other people do that so I'll try not to.

I'm just having one of those weird 'You get the choice between being a good person and being successful. It's fine to alter your choice but you cannot be both' moments. I'm also having one of those weird, 'When it's hot like this, you know what I do? I keep my nightclothes in the icebox' moments. I'm pretty sure these two are not related.

I am now paranoid of exploding ants

I also changed my theme. And now I think it's awesome.

You may or may not agree with the above statement. Either way, this isn't your blog. >.>

BUT. I do have some news for you guys, this isn't just a random post like a little while ago.

First, off, reason behind that title: There is this ant that, if it's in a fight and it notices that it's about to lose, instead of fighting to the death, it gets as close to its opponent as possible and blows itself up. It has poison glands all down the sides of its body and when it gets close enough to its opponent, it contracts its abdominal muscles with such intensity that it, I'll say it again, blows itself up and sends the poison flying. How awesome is that?!

Also, my website (the weebly one that's actually my site and not something for Ink-Slingaria) should be up... fairly soon. Once I get everything, you know, written for it. Ugh, I'm so lazy.

There's also this site right here, which is both fascinating and terrifying. It's called 'Breathing Earth' and it shows in real time when someone is born, when someone dies, when a certain amount of C02 is released into the atmosphere by a certain country and all kinds of interesting data from all over the world.

Fourthly, WriDaNoJu is (almost) officially back on track which means 'Praying for Death' is (not nearly as depressing as the title may suggest and) almost half-way done! W00T! And project blogs for some of my higher-priority and longer-lived projects should be going live sometime fairly soon and when they are, I'll link the heck out of them and spam them all out to you, my loyal...people who stumbled across this blog. I <3 you ^^

Ink-Slingers and Nerdfighters

Hello, all. Currently, I'm in planning stages on several different projects but the one I am possibly most exited about is the little WriMo community I've only recently become a part of.

Now, I and a few others stand at the front of the 'Pro-WriMo'/Pro-Creativity movement and since it's little known right now, I decided it might be a good idea to build a little site (because I totally love building sites for some strange reason) for us.

It should be up in a couple of days (depending on how my writing's going) so be on the lookout for that. It has a lot of information on us and on projects I'd like to get started. So, yeah...

Until the next time, guys. DFTBA
